FOURS is an effort to re-establish an honest, love-at-first-sight relationship between the self and an object. We focus on chairs because we believe they have a special ability to speak to our inner nature. We see them as extensions of our body into space -- little creatures that make us feel at home.

With no known makers, the chairs are intentionally devoid of pretense, reputation, or social currency. We refer to them by what they would say, if they were a person. They are chairs for your pleasure alone.
