FOURS is an effort to re-establish an honest, love-at-first-sight relationship between the self and an object. The project focuses on chairs because they have a special ability to speak to our inner nature. They are extensions of our body into space — little creatures that reflect us back.

With no known makers, the chairs are intentionally devoid of pretense, reputation or social currency. They are for your pleasure alone. Each chair is named for what it would say, if it were a person.
